Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We are not claiming full conformance — we are stating the standard we build against and fix towards.
What is in place
- Text and background colours are chosen for contrast, and body text is set at a comfortable reading size that scales when you zoom.
- Every interactive element is reachable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Headings are properly nested so screen readers can navigate a page by structure.
- Diagrams carry text descriptions, and decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
- Animation is limited and is switched off entirely if your system requests reduced motion.
- The site works without JavaScript; scripts only handle the cookie choice and small conveniences.
- Layout reflows to a single column on small screens without horizontal scrolling.
Known limitations
Wide comparison tables scroll horizontally on narrow screens, which is not ideal for switch access. Advertising, where present, is served by third parties and we do not control its markup.
